  It was right across the street (I lived at 3242 gravois) they had the best beef, chicken and beef/lamb gyros around! And cigarettes was the cheapest in the city! Always smelled off the chain when u walk by and the people that work there are some of the best on Earth!

  When my parents come to St Louis for their yearly visits, they HAVE to stop by Taj Market to bring home dates as souvenirs for their friends. We usually buy the fresh halal meat from them too.

  Great, fresh, halal (hand slaughtered) beef, chicken and veal meat, much healtier and better tasting than supermarket store-bought frozen alternatives, even if you are not a muslim, it is worth trying it at least. They also sell a lot of groceries.
