  If I could give a lower score, I would. Poor customer service, never had the chance to even eat my meal since I had to return it twice. Only gave me a partial refund. The guy at the register had zero customer service. I’ve placed an order for a medium well steak. I received my order and when I cut into my steak it was under cooked. I brought it back to have another steak cooked how I ordered, but sadly for the second time it was under cooked. When I spoke to the guy with no customer service, he didn’t refund me my full receipt. My receipt was for $28.64 and he only refunded me $24.31. He said he was not refunding me the full amount since I ate my side salad. He then proceeds to tell me that “he wasn’t the one that cooked my food”. When asked to speak to a manager he told me that the manager was not in and that he was the one in charge. I did not get to eat my food due to the cook under cooking my meal and this is how he conducted himself along with short changing my refund by $4.33. Still trying to contact the manager, but every time I call I cannot get management on the phone. Its sad when you have individuals with poor professionalism & customer service working for your establishment. Food prep area was also not the cleanliness of areas. I'm sure if the Food/Health inspector were to do a pop up, they will have issues with the inspection.

  Good breakfast place for a quick stop. Service is good. Food comes out quick. Came here twice on our trip and is pretty consistent.

  Wonderful chain restaurant specializing in grilled steaks. Order at the register then take a seat and wait for your number to get called. Being close to Union Square, this place can get busy but always seems to get the food out quickly . No easy parking at the restaurant but the area has many options for paid parking lots and garages within walking distance of the restaurant.

  Tads is a nice old school Eatery we San franciscans enjoy it prices aren't bad and they've got a varied menu. Whatever you want you'll enjoy. I like the Tad cut steak, sometimes I'll get the chicken or the salmon. It looks like a place right out of the early days of San Francisco love that sign out front. If you like a No-Frills tasty meal check out Tads.

  Very clean place that hasn't changed a lot since I was last there over 50 years ago. Basic steak dinner includes "special cut" steak, baked potatoes, toasted garlic bread, and a green salad with dressing of your choice for $18.99. Sour cream, bacon (real), and drinks extra. Order at the counter, get a tray with your salads, drinks and a pager, pick up your cutlery and take a seat. When the pager buzzes, return to the counter and pick up your entree and potato. pretty basic but simple. Enjoyed it as much this time as I did when I first went there.
