A BREIF DESCIPTION OF HOW THIS IS THE WORST TACO BELL (seriously don't waste your time - go to Wendy's or Zax, they are right next door) Alright, a little preface... I use to work for taco bell, and I still love the food. I always try to sympathize with the employees; they have unrealistic expectations and don’t get paid very much also lunch/dinner rush can be nuts. I digress. Anyways I live right across Leestown from this location which I thought would be convenient in case I need to get my Tbell fix, WRONG! FIRST VISIT (drive thru): Around the holidays and they have a special where if you buy a gift card you get a free combo. I always buy this bc regardless I'm always going to spend money at Tbell, so why not get some free food out of the deal? Anyways pull up to the speaker - ask about the deal, employee says it does not exist, so I order the combo I was going to get anyway. I pull up to the window and BAM, there is a window decal advertising the deal... I proceed to point it out as a pay, girl said it has expired, I read it and the deal expires Dec 31st (it is still Dec), I get no response and the manager peels it off as she hands me my food. SECOND VISIT (inside – to go): Driver thru was bumpin so I decided to order inside. Look over the menu and order my total came out to almost double what it should have been (I guess their menu board prices were not up to date) food was lack luster, the beans were thicc as heck. I also got a couple of those beef cheesy stackers; the tortillas where barely grilled and there was wayyy to much cheese. Don’t get me wrong, I like cheese but I almost gaged when I put this in my mouth hole. THIRD VISIT (drive thru): I was pretty hungover during this visit. I got the grilled stuffed burrito combo. All of the ingredients were not portioned evenly throughout the burrito (ie. sour cream confined to one cavity) beans were not hydrated (again). I don’t expect much from them anymore… FOURTH VISIT (drive thru): Service and food was good, but the girl at the window forgot to give me my drink lol FIFTH VISIT (drive thru): This way my breaking point, seriously so many second chances. Food was not grilled to the set time, beans not hydrated, ingredients not distributed evenly, soggy nachos, wrong ingredients put on the items, and the food was basically thrown out the window to me… This was at 9 pm on a Sunday, so they were not busy. Seriously guys take some pride in your work, quit making crappy food!

This is by far the worst taco bell. I have tried to get breakfast there twice this week. Both times at 7:30 and the employees tell me they have no food ready. They are short with me and rude. I will never attempt to eat at this location again. I recommend avoiding it.

I got food poisoning from this location. On a Saturday evening I got a to-go order of three soft tacos with meat and cheese only. When I took my first bite after getting home I noticed the taco was cold. I rarely get food to go (besides pizza) and it was extremely cold outside so I figured it was normal that the tacos lost their heat on the ride home. I continued to finish that taco and then waited a while before heating the other two in the microwave. I woke up sick the next morning (Sunday) and remained sick enough that my husband had to take me to the hospital on Monday. I was in the hospital all day. I HATE needles but I had never been in so much pain for such a long period of time so I had no choice. The hospital gave me an IV and some strong pain medication and did a CAT scan to confirm it wasn’t a kidney stone or my gallbladder. They confirmed I had food poisoning. I didn’t feel back to normal until late Wednesday. I know there is always a risk of undercooked food, whether it’s in a restaurant or at home, but that doesn’t make it okay, especially when you’re an establishment that has to follow health inspection guidelines.
