::Office quick to respond, but I don’t agree with the statements about concerns for anxious patients. They will not allow a support person during your procedure, or at least allow you to have someone with you while you are numbed or have an IV done for sedation. You can feel like you are the nicest person in the world, but that front does not relax someone with true anxiety. Especially those unable to communicate true pain and fear during a medical procedure. While you believe they are fine, they are suffering in silence. A responsible support person that knows how to stay out of the dentists way all the while supporting their companion can make all the difference in a persons experience. The size of the procedure rooms are a poor excuse not to allow it. It’s just most people are terrified to speak up regarding their true feelings. They are to submit to policies that they are adamantly against, but won’t speak out of fear of retribution. It’s about control, not true concern for the patient. Blanket policies are horrible and each request should be discussed between patient, doctor, and support person on an individual basis. Edit: Maybe you’ll see this. But again I was not heard. I simply requested having a support person with me during the procedure as I calms me and helps me get through the stress and fear over numbing and dental procedures. It was a hard NO! Then I asked if I could at least have someone with me during NOS sedation and numbing, or during the IV placement. Again no. Sure if you have a sedation team I’m sure it’s cramped and understandable. You guys only use a anesthesia team for IV sedation. But I was asking about a support person without sedation and was given a lecture. So if you have room for them, you have room for a responsible support person. Your response proves the original reason for not allowing it is/was false. ::Very pleased with my root canal treatment! I am not usually one to provide reviews but, in this case, I feel compelled to take the time and let everyone know how amazing of an experience I went thru at Syrpes & Pangborn. Dr. Syrpes and his staff took the time to ensure I not only was put at ease in terms of what the procedure was going to be but went above and beyond to make sure I received the best care. Experienced absolutely no pain during the process, the after care and their compassion to reach out to ensure I was doing well was beyond my expectation. Lastly, the staff was accommodating with utmost professionalism. I would recommend Dr. Syrpes to anyone that may ever need endodontic care.

::Dr Syrpes was wonderful! I was incredibly nervous to get a root canal done but he made me feel so comfortable. He walked me through step by step what was going to happen which helped me feel better. His assistant was excellent and made me feel very comfortable as well. The tools they use for this procedure were better than what happens at my general dentist and with my sensitive teeth I would honestly prefer to have another root canal in the future than a filling. I'm also grateful they were able to get me in quickly as this ended up being an emergency situation and they were able to see me the next day and fix me right up! Thank you!

::I had an after hours root canal after spending a sleepless night in terrible pain from an abscess. Dr. Syrpes is amazing. Diagnosis and treatment immediate and painless. I won’t go anywhere else! Excellent care! Professional and skilled with latest treatments! I apologized for keeping Dr Syrpes and his staff after hours to which Dr Syrpes responded “next time don’t wait, day or night we’ll see you. It’s why we’re here.”

::I am such a big baby about going to the dentist so when I needed a root canal and was referred here by my dentist I was very nervous. Everyone, even from the moment I called to schedule, was very kind and understanding. It was a great experience the whole way through and I was extremely comfortable the whole time. You can tell that they take immense pride in their skill, workmanship, and bedside manner. Everything was explained thoroughly before, during, and after treatment and made me feel at ease the whole time. I really appreciate the care I received here and would 100% recommend this clinic and I thank them for an outstanding and pain-free job done.
