  From customer service down to the food was excellent. Not salty at all just the right seasoning and get your money works with the amount of food given. I also met the owner he is a pretty humble guy. I will be going back for my fix. Love it!

  Let me begin by saying I waited over an hour in line and that was OKAY! I expected to wait. The staff was nice. The food was good. My companion thought her sides were too sweet when taken together (sweet potatoes, cabbage, cornbread) My sides were Mac n cheese and black eyed peas. Perfect pairing. The mac n cheese and any other side would be perfect. The savory (delicious) Mac n cheese compliments the sugar in the other sides. We both had Fish. Everything was hot and the servers - INCLUDING Charles- were all very patient and accommodating. From taking pictures to answering questions. EVERYONE in there had their phone out and wanted special treatment. Some of these reviews are ridiculous and funny. This location needs time to gel. It will. I was visiting from out of state and when I return to Houston I'll return to Sweetie Pies. Thank you Tim, Charles, Bruce and ALL the staff for sharing yourselves and Ms. Robbie's legacy with all of us. Looking forward to great things for you all. If Houston doesn't appreciate it there are PLENTY who will!!!!!

  After loving sweetie pies for years and visiting all the location I have to say this one is the worse. I went to the Richmond location every week and this one is the complete opposite in service. Mac and cheese completely dry...potatoe salad warm..extremely limited options. Small portions.. the peach cobbler was literally 1 small scoop. Somebody needs to work with this staff. I won't be back

  Ordered the 3 piece chicken with Macaroni, Yams, Cornbread, and added an additional side of Potato Salad! Oh, can’t forget about the SWEEET Tea! I love that my food sat down before me. Customer Service is superb. Food was good but was expecting that WOW factor. I am not a big fan of the potato salad. Will be returning to try the Fish.

  One of the best soul food restaurants that I've been to in a very long time. The food is excellent the customer service is outstanding the food is hot also the sweet tea wasn't as sweet but it wasn't tart it was just right. I encourage everyone to go out and try this restaurant is very good I had two fried pork chops sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The only thing that I can say is that I wish they was a little bit bigger because they were so good.
