Finally! A vegan ice cream shop! Visiting from Kansas so I apologize if this seems like a late or misplaced comment. You have sorbets or nothing here in novelty shops. It was also awesome to see ice cream that was NOT coconut based. Not all vegans like coconut or mushrooms! Thus place nailed it with the peanut butter ice cream. Wish I could have had a scoop of at least half their offerings. Austin, please support this shop. You have no idea how lucky you are.

We’ve made it our ritual to stop here before leaving Austin when we visit and Sweet Ritual never disappoints! The flavors are amazing and we love that we can get a creamy, rich and sweet vegan ice cream without harming any animals! The shop itself is a bit small so it can get crowded on busy days and there is limited seating on a bench out front but that won’t stop us from coming again. The prices are fair and since I’m gluten intolerant I love there is a gluten free cone option too! Definitely recommend this place.

This is the first time that I have ever had Vegan Ice Cream, and I was NOT disappointed. They have 3 bases that I noticed: Coconut, Cashew, Peanut Butter. These bases help everyone be able to find something. The coconut base flavors were a little too coconutty for me, personally, but it was still pretty subtle. I love peanut butter, so the flavors I got both had that base, and they were delicious! Bottom Line: Vegan?! No worries! Sweet Ritual has your back ;p

Great vegan ice cream! Their Cinnamon Graham Cracker tasted like the real thing. Highly recommend this flavor. More than enough choices to choose from so you might have trouble choosing. Not to worry, you can always come back for more. I’m not vegan but I love Sweet Ritual for my ice cream consumption. You’re going to feel happy with this ice cream paradise vegans.

My wife and I love this place! Every time we visit we are well pleased. Our favorite is that they have edible vegan glitter that you can put on your ice cream. There are several gluten free options which makes me happy, and there is never much of a wait. This is a fun spot to bring friends. We've found that a lot of our non-vegan friends like this more than dairy ice cream. Sweet Ritual knows their stuff and is a great addition to Austin.
