::Dr. Vlcek is awesome. However, the "protocol" for checking in is ridiculous and humiliating. Each visit you must "verify your details." You can tell them that nothing has changed since your last visit, but some genius decided that the "protocol" calls for you to provide all details. So you have to provide complete address, phone, insurance carrier, primary physician and must show a photo ID (I mean, would somebody else take my child to see his neurologist?). Ridiculous! In the past, and at every other health professional we visit, you could simply say "no changes," everything is the same. Which is to say, I am verifying that the information I verified last visit is unchanged. So, what you have must still be correct. Thus no changes! Is this a lame attempt of a Swedish Protocol or a ambitious office manager? Administrators looking for continuous improvement to best practices, ultimately just make the process less efficient and redundant; certainly a less personal and familiar experience.
