It's ok if you want fruits or vegetables, however I never would by any type of meat here. Secondly everyone here is very nice.

Has the freshest produce, good quality meats, hot deli food, groceries and supplies. Would recommend this place as a go to for preparing your next home cooked meal.

Bought mostly fruits & vegetables & chicken thighs. produce was reasonably priced and mostly costs less than @ other markets. Produce appeared fresh and undamaged. Chicken thighs were family pack, reasonably priced and fresh smelling.

Good prices. Great grocery store with a focus on Latin American type of products and foods (but you can find lots of the usual stuff... Milk, eggs, snacks, meats, ketchup, etc). They make their own tortillas, REALLY GOOD!

I am not surprised by all the bad reviews. I was almost done with my shopping at the Superior on 17th St., in Santa Ana when my shopping cart went missing. Another shopping cart with groceries was left there, where mine was. I looked for my shopping cart assuming that someone took it by mistake and left theirs behind. I couldn't find it and I went looking for an employee to get help. I approached Elizabeth and told her what had happened and I asked if she could make an announcement over the speaker/intercom to ask shoppers to please return the cart that had mistakenly been taken. I had already spend over half an hour shopping and had many groceries. I did not want to start my shopping again. This had happened TWICE before on different occasions. She walked away and when she did not return in a timely manner I went looking for her. She did not make the announcement so I asked her if she could get management for me. She did. I explained what had happened to MAURICIO, who claimed to be the manager at the time. I asked the same if he could make an announcement. With a very firm tone he said to me he was not allowed to make an announcement accusing customers of stealing. I said to him that I was not accusing anyone of stealing that they simply took the wrong cart. I asked again if he could please make the announcement. He got extremely upset and and repeated himself that he was not allowed to accuse customers of stealing. I repeated myself and said to him that mistakenly taking a cart is not stealing and that he could even include the information that the cart had a red Trader Joe's cloth bag in it with other shopping bags inside. With a very cynical tone in his voice and a smirk on his face, he said, "You think these shoppers are going to understand that?" I responded, "This is a store where English is spoken, right? And you could also translate it to Spanish." By this time Elizabeth, the young clerk had already walked away. MAURICIO then turns to me and in a low voice says to me "If you continue with this, I am going to call the police and have two employees claim that you were harassing my customers and throw you out of the store." I was shocked and I said, "You would have people lie?" And he said, "Try me." I told him I would report this to corporate and he just laughed. I called corporate and reported it to "Sandy Ponce". She apologized and said they would investigate. I told her I'd welcome an investigation. I told her to look at the video when the incident happened, so that they could see I did not harass any employees and that they would see exactly what I reported. I guess they don't care about customer service like they claim on their website. I have not heard from them. I will never return to a store where customers are not appreciated.
