  Would give this place 0 stars if that was an option. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! Pre-paid online (park whiz) $25.00 for parking here to attend an event at the James L. Knight Center. This parking at 255 NE 1st Street SunTrust Tower Annex Garage was quite far away from the James L. Knight Center which we were going to - not in walking distance - (you had to take a skytrain two stops to get there) - additionally - the parking garage stated that Monday-Friday they close at 10:00 pm. There was NO ONE working there at 6:15 pm when we arrived. A woman from the neighborhood who was leaving the garage told us that if your car is left past 10:00 pm (closing) you would NOT be able to get your car out, as they close and lock these big green gates! We couldn't believe how there was no sign stating 'event parking' or a later closing time, so we did not want to take a chance and get stuck there. We took the car out of the parking space within 20 minutes of parking it (as we had been discussing with the woman/resident the details which 20 minutes). When trying to leave the parking - I inserted the ticket and said I owed them Another $6.00 !!! On top of the pre-paid parking of $25.00!! So $31.00 to park for 20 minutes in a lot with no employees to help or dispute this! I took photos of the entrance, the sign, the machine where it wanted me to pay again - everything. I called Asset Parking who operates Sun Trust Tower Annex Garage - and spoke to a very rude unprofessional guy who said he would do NOTHING to refund us for this - and hung up on me! I have Never had an experience with parking like this one, and HIGHLY ADVISE to find another parking lot in the future - this place is a scam and out to rip you off.

  Safe parking. BEWARE OF OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES. Do not get carried away and try to retrieve your car after the gate has closed (especially on a Saturday night). During operation hours, parking is hassle free.
