  My mom is 81 years old, blind, suffers dementia and confusion. I visited the West Babylon location as an option for my mother a few months back while she was in rehab. Be aware you will be dealing with the equivalent of an aggressive car salesman. After deciding to go with Home Care, Kim Morrone calls me to say they will be giving the room I was interested in to another customer if I don't act immediately. I let them know that is fine. Then 2 days later their sales department contacts me they are preparing the room for my mothers arrival within the next week. Then after spending more time sorting that out, they then proceed to call my very vulnerable mother at home to continue to give her the sales pitch (they had her number because they captured it off caller-id when I called them initially). You can convince my mother of anything and having sales people directly contacting her is very disturbing and a big betrayal of trust. I requested Kim to not call my mother directly ever again, and instead of just agreeing, she tells me she would need a new contact number first. I visited other Sunrise facilities on Long Island and did not have anything like this at any other location.

  The level of care at sunrise was outstanding. The staff seemed to really care about my mother during her last days. They were all friendly and supportive for our family. The facility is bright and beautiful. The other residents were friendly. When you walk in you get a great feeling, I was greeted by a friendly dog and smiling staff. On my mothers floor there was a cozy cat that sat next to the residents. Every aspect of the facility was to our satisfaction and we highly recommend Sunrise of West Babylon. Thank you to all the staff and people that work at Sunrise of West Babylon for the help they gave us. And thank you to the friendly residents that we met there. - The Priestley Family
