::This place is one of few in the Ballston neighborhood. I lived across the street in the AVA building and it was truly a "convenient" store when I had late night cravings, or even felt the urge to treat the leasing staff at AVA. The cashiers are nice enough as a gas station attendant. One even lived in near my hometown in Florida, so we connected off of that. These poor reviews do not reflect the foot traffic / convenience of this gas station. Overall, this gas station is a good / safe one to use.

::So the guy pumping his gas across from me drove off with the gas handle still in his truck, causing it to fling around the other side of his pump, and hit my car door so hard it left a dent. It also flung gas all inside my car, and on my 3 year old daughter. When I went inside to ask the clerk if they had cameras (I told him the situation) he told me "sorry, can't help you." Keep in mind, he had cameras INSIDE the store and the guy who was at fault had gone inside to pay. So I had to call the police to get anything done. But by that time, it had surpassed the 30 minutes of film the gas station supposedly had. He could've helped me out, but chose not to. So now I'm stuck with a car that smells of gas, and a huge dent in my door. But that alone wouldn't make me leave a bad review. This place is just a dump period but I was desperate for gas. Learned my lesson.

::My go-to place to get gas. We live in the neighborhood. Always available, working pumps, reasonable prices.

::Terrible experience. If you have a chip card, help yourself and use it outside for the gas. The chip function is not working on the card readers. Beware that the cashier guy will get angry if you accidentally pressed the debit entry and you had a credit card. Also make sure to swipe it 3 times if you plan to shop inside due to the bad credit card readers. Such a shame.
