  As the treasurer for a small non-profit, AND, full disclosure, as an employee of SUM, I definitely give our team 5 stars. Knowing virtually nothing about QuickBooks Online (I work on the recruiting side, not the bookkeeping or accounting side), the team has been exceptionally helpful and attentive in working with me to learn what I need to know in managing the finances and donations of our NPO.

  I do not recommend using SUM. My small nonprofit sought out their services and after months didn't get the deliverables we'd been anticipating. I found that the help they provided was ultimately pretty minimal and I felt that they misrepresented what they could help us with in the first place. Finally, they double estimated the number of hours required for a training and then would not refund. Until they stopped responding to me emails, they were very friendly.

  Hello everyone, My name is Michelle Ruiz. I was sent to SUM Innovation by one of my clients. I am from Spain, new to the country with a start up business. One of the biggest advice I had from a dearest friend was, "Michelle put the same attention on the accounting part of your business as you put in your passion to make it work". He said to me, you are an immigrant and they are going to look up closely to your numbers. Since I got to Sum Innovation the first day, I felt relaxed, they would answer to all my questions straight away (which were a lot!) , they took care of every detail and they gave me the necessary peace of mind to focus on my goals.   Our firm used SUM Innovation's accounting and bookkeeping services recently and they did an excellent job! We needed to clean up our 2013 QuickBooks and work on reconciling all of 2014 for our upcoming estimated taxes. Not only did SUM Innovation provide a thorough assessment of our current financial situation, but they listened to our concerns as a start up, were extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and patient...We even had a dedicated team assigned us, which was fantastic for any last minute questions. I would highly recommend working with SUM Innovation whether you are an established company or just starting out.
