  I just moved to the neighborhood and I discovered this place taking a walk around. I was pleasantly surprised. Probably the best donuts I ever had.

  Very friendly, great drinks, and I highly recommend that you try the cake donuts. Their beer and board game nights are also a great midweek respite from the workday grind.

  I was fortunate enough to get here just after the crazy lunch hour. There was one other person in front of me when I arrived. I was greeted as soon as I arrived, and I was helped almost immediately. The cashier was pleasant and fast at ringing up the person in front of me. I got this oreo donut, and it went perfectly with my coffee. There’s one more donut in the bag that I’m saving for tomorrow. It’s been my experience that these donuts reheat really well. I like the variety of the donuts. They are pricey, but I’m coming from NC, so I may be used to spending less. I paid just over $6 for two donuts. Parking can be a challenge, as it’s located on a busy street with only a few paid parking spots out front. However, if you live in the neighborhood close by or want to park in the parking deck around back, I say go for it! I will try their coffee drinks next time I go. Four stars only because of parking.

  The donuts themselves are 5-star! So delicious and our wedding guests loved having a donut bar vs. the traditional cake. The delivery was on time and the team that dropped them off was so friendly and nice. We loved them! However, I would give the service, responsiveness and professionalism a 3-star rating. E-mails were not responded to promptly and phone calls were not answered or returned. I had a lot of questions about recommendations and logistics. They were answered but it seemed like they were annoyed by all of the questions. Sugar Shack offers a complimentary tasting for large orders which was great and allowed us to try some flavors before we decided which to serve at the wedding. Customer service for catering orders needs some work but I would recommend Sugar Shack and I loved serving their donuts at my wedding.
