::Its a great place to go with all the family. My kids had a lot of fun feeding the animals running getting on the tractors. The view is great specially it will give you a sense of peace and quiet something that city people needs ones in a while. To enter the farm is free but you pay $3 dollars if you want to feed the animals. The staff is nice, restroom super clean you won't regret visiting this farm. They don't sale food at the farm but they will provide table if you bring.

::This place is amazing! I take my toddler and baby here during the week and there is never anyone here. It is a gem. And it is truely a farm, so don't go there thinking you're not going to smell some nasty stuff. Animals are all kept well, they will come close to you. I, personally, don't touch them, just because they're not used to ME, but those that work with them. There is also a nice play area for the kids as well as a garden and the bathrooms are always clean when we go.

::We had the best time at the Suffolk County Farm yesterday!! We went for a special event - a wreath-making class. It was great fun! The "instructors" were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They supplied the wire ring and the greens. We brought our own decorations. Even when there's nothing special happening it's still worth going to see the animals. We saw bunnies, pigs, horses, donkeys, and cows. The cows were like big dogs - they came right over looking for treats. They are really just gentle giants. Beautiful! If you live in Suffolk you should visit. If you live in Nassau, it's worth the drive. Two thumbs up!! We will be returning!! :-)

::Suffolk County Farm & Education Center an actual working farm. I had a great time viewing the landscape scenery and farm animals. The staff is friendly and super informative regarding the farm animals.

::If you are looking for affordable activities for your kids, check out the Suffolk County Farm! The farm has a variety of programs for children of all ages that have little to no fee. Kids will get a kick out of seeing cows, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, and more! Beware, this is a working farm so it is stinky and muddy! Do not wear your Sunday best here. Not to miss events include Baby Animal Day and their seasonal scavenger hunts. The staff are super friendly and will answer any and all questions you have. If you will be staying for an extended period of time, remember to bring your lunch so you can eat it in the picnic area.
