Went in for a shave. Looks horrible. Paid 25.00 plus a $5.00 tip. Called and asked for Deanna and the person wouldnā€™t let me speak to her. Horrible.....

One of the best barber shops around Philly. Convenient central location in liberty place. Just found out that Angelia from the Paoli location is working here on Thursday and Friday. She has been cutting my hair for the last 10 years and is highly recommended. Great attention to detail and I can trust her to keep me up with the latest fashions.

Have been going here for over 13 years. It is a great, friendly atmosphere that delivers great haircuts and styling every visit. Iļø have recommended this place to many friends who have all become regulars - a few come from outside of the city just to get their haircuts here! Part of their consistency is due to the stylists who have been there over the years. Ellen and Tip are my personal favorites who always deliver great service and they are awesome to work with. Itā€™s the go to hairstyling spot in center city.

Homophobic and Sexist- Avoid. I only gave a star because it was the only way to post this review. Was in town for a four day trip between work conferences with my wife, who is genderqueer and masculine. She needed her razor cut freshened up. Got to this place, in a PUBLIC SHOPPING MALL. There was nobody waiting. She was in a t-shirt that read Gay Veterans: I Fought For Your Rights. They told her 15 minutes, then immediately turned around, looked at her face and her chest, and told her no. Employee told my wife they only cut men's hair. She told them she needed a men's cut, and showed them how short her hair was. Person at the front told her "Its not the hair, we only cut MEN! Let me talk to the manager." Then proceeded to have a very public conversation with the manager, complete with pointing, about whether they would do the haircut. My wife, an Army veteran and paying customer, told them to just forget it and walked. It was homophobic, sexist, and ridiculous. You cut hair, not men; you're assuming everyone in your chairs is born male; and in case you've been sleeping, its 2017. Avoid this place at all costs. I'll be reporting this salon to other organizations this evening.

Was a walk-in having just seen the place and work in the same building. People were polite. They fit me in. Haircut was not exactly what I wanted, but hey, it is the first time and that is hard to meet. Still, she was educated and finished with a decent cut. A bit pricey... still trying to swallow that... at $40 for a men's wash and cut. They do not put tips on the card so I had to use a nearby atm.. which added 3.50 to the experience... will think twice next time, but good in a pinch
