  I am new to Anchorage and my hair was way overdue for treatment. I am picky about who does my hair...I don't need much styling but good coloring is very important to me. I met a girl whose hair I thought looked fabulous and asked what hairstyling salon she went to. She mentioned Studio Mod and that all the stylists are superb. I was fortunate to get an appointment with Alesha who is very sweet and and I was extremely pleased with my color and cut. I would advise anyone not to wait until the last minute to get your hair appointment. I booked my next appointment before I left the salon. A good hair stylists appointment book will fill up quickly, obviously. Thank you Alesha.

  Great Service + Beautiful Space I have worked with a couple of the independent technicians for various services and I am always impressed. From hair care, eyelashes, and even tattooing, this salon offers it all. I like that each technician/artist, is responsible for themselves, as it makes it easier for communicating and remember my specific needs/desires. I also feel like this helps an individual create a better relationship with their technician so you can walk away happy and understood.

  I get my hair done by Kirstin Forbes and she always does an excellent job. I usually go for just a cut but she also does my sister who like crazy colors and Kristin is amazing with color. One of the best hairstylists in town hands down.

  I have had Mai ( the owner ) for years ! I will never go anywhere else. She did my wedding and everything else in between. She is a professional in every possible way. I have not done hair with the girls there but clients seem happy and they look good! In addition she has a tattoo artist and awesome eyebrow lady!One stop shop!
