::I purchased a bathroom vanity top which they fabricated incorrectly. They requested the exact dimensions of the cabinet and said they would add an overhang to all finished edges. They only added an overhang to 3 of 4 finished edges. Upon discovery of the issue, I attempted to contact the company on several different occasions only to be told that someone would call me back. After finally getting a hold of Larry, the sales person I had worked with, he would not discuss the issue and said I needed to speak with the owner of the company, Badu. Larry said he would have Badu, the owner contact me. Badu never contacted me. Bottom line if you have an issue with Stone City's work or products they will simply ignore you and not attempt to rectify the issue and just take your money. Fortunately, for me this was a small project, however I would hate to be in this situation with a much larger job like a kitchen.

::LOOK ELSEWHERE!! After picking a remnant for a vanity top and paying for it up front, we were then told it would be 3--4 weeks before we could pick it up. I called after 4 weeks and I was told I could pick it up after 5:00 on a Friday. We showed up and they were still polishing it and drilling holes for the faucet. They handed me the sink and said I would have to glue it on myself or come back on Monday if I wanted them to attach it. I supplied them the templet with exact measurements and cabinet dimensions.(inside too) The hole for the sink was cut about 3/4" to far to the front of the cabinet. I had to cut away the cabinet to get it to clear the sink. DON'T BUY HERE.

::Please read this review before you choose your granite supplier and installer. We went with the Stone City in Aurora. At first, everything was going good. Then our install date was changed, the installers were 1.5 hours late. Smaller piece of counter top was damaged as they laid it incorrectly and started trimming it. After a chase and number of phone calls to the store, they finally showed up with a smaller replacement piece. It did not match. Its a good shade or 2 darker than the rest of the counter tops. My guess is, the smaller piece was cut out of a different slab. The owner showed up 3 days later and stated that it was cut out of the same slab and it is an industry standard to have color variances. I understand its a natural stone and it will vary in color but not within the same stretch of a counter top. Especially, if the mess up was on the installer side. We have no resolution. No good outcomes. And spent thousands of dollars on something that doesn't look right. Just the entire experience was not anywhere near good. Watch out for this place! And look for a better industry standard!

::I recently had some granite installed in my kitchen by Stone City. It was a fairly smooth process from start to finish. No appointment was necessary and I was given a great price. The measuring and install all went smoothly. Then main reason I am only giving them 3 stars is that the granite has small pits in it that are noticeable in the right light and when you run your finger across it. Pros: 1. Price 2. Installation was done quickly from the time of initial purchase 3. Installation was done with no problems 4. Final payment is done after install 5. From a distance the countertop looks good Cons: 1. There is no stain warranty 2. The granite I had installed has some small pits that you can feel if you run your finger across the granite. I was told this is normal for natural stone, but I did not observe this on granite on display at various showrooms I visited. Also, I was not told beforehand that the granite would have small pits.
