::DO NOT WASTER YOUR TIME OR MONEY. They used to be located on 21st Ave off 86th Street. Easy to access and park nearby. This new location is awful - the stairs are dangerous and parking is non-existent. I’ve been using Stessi for years. It’s very annoying because they’re usually rude which makes dealing with them difficult. More importantly, the work is hit or miss. Sometimes they do a great job but have ruined pants that I brought in brand new with tags on. Most recently they hemmed the sleeves on a brand new jacket but made them too short. I was told that it was my fault as I should know when I stretch out my arms that the sleeves would be too short as it was pinned. REALLY?? Who is the professional? I paid $20 for the hem then brought the jacket back. They fixed it but had the audacity to charge me another $15 to fix their mistake. I paid the additional money but I will never go back again! Overall it cost me $35 to hem sleeves - that’s just crazy. I told the redhead it was bad business. What nerve!. There are many other tailors in the neighborhood.

::Went to get my bridesmaid dress altered, the room was dirty that I had black all over my hands plus no light in the changing room and was very small. She took the top if my dress and lifted it up so high the sides of my dress was literally in my arm pit, instead of bringing in the sides of the dress. And said to me that this is what I had to do in her professional opinion. We had to bring in the sides of the dress anyways. She also added a strap for my bra to go through, but was a snap closure. Which popped open and never even worked so my bra was exposed the whole wedding day. The absolute worst has to be the hem of the dress, when I went to pick it up the dress , I obviously tried it on with the shoes from the original alterations. I said the dress is too long in the front it's not correct. She told me that it was because I was looking down at the dress. I like an idiot , left with the dress thinking she was right. I tripped all over my dress all day stepping all over myself. I tried everything to make it better. Rolling it under the center trying to clip with safety pins, but it was chiffon so that was a horror. Don't waste your time and money in this place.

::Fast and great service. Highest quality alterations of all levels of difficulty. I had my suit jackets adjusted here and pants shortened. My wife takes all her dresses done here.

::If I could give this zero stars, I would. Never mind the tailor's demeaning attitude towards just about anyone who walks thru the door - the quality of her work is simply the worst that I've ever encountered. After charging us $50 to have bra cups sewn into my daughters dress, I took the said dress away from the shop because it was still not fitting her right. When I took the dress to another tailor, he took the dress apart and showed me that there were no cups in there at all. As a matter of fact, the dress wasnt even altered. When I asked Stessi's tailor about it, she yelled at me about being too busy this season to worry about every dress. "Silly me"
