::Quite displeased with the quality of food and service unfortunately. We went to this restaurant since it is in the lobby of the hotel and it was convenient. Food-we wanted a couple of late evening snacks after a long travel day, so we got the calamari and the humus/pita plate. Both dishes were brutally over cooked (it's hard to mess up pita bread, but apparently you can). Service -this is where the stars dropped the most. My girlfriends glass had obvious food particles/dirt in it and after noticing how dirty it was simply asked for a a new glass when he had a moment. The server then proceeded to inspect the glass in the light (while still at the table) and instead of just saying "sure" or ok, or anything else to acknowledge the request, he decided to start questioning her as to what was wrong with it. It's not usually a big deal to get a clean glass (especially if asked for an honest reason and truly in a polite manner), but he made it seem like we were putting the weight of the world's problems on him. We're pretty easy going and often don't complain about things, but this was pretty bad. Now the next part. I have never before, ***not one single time***, had a server hand me the check and then stand next to me and stare, while I was still eating my burnt calamari, and wait for me to hand him a credit card. Maybe it was a fluke? Not a chance. Upon return of the bill and my card, he again waited for me to complete the bill and even took the opportunity to point out features on the bill such as "the tip line". The next best part, he was so eager to take the final bill he physically took it out of my hands, not even finished, and vanished without another word or appearance. BZ to this establishment on earning, truly earning, a 1 star review. I have never been so irked that I have decided to write a review of a business, but there is always a first.
