  Great location. Gives off a hipster vibe. Workers there were pleasant and friendly. No issues with coffee.

  After waiting 10 minutes for a warm scone I ask where it might be and then gave me my scone cold. I know it can get busy . I felt the staff didn't care.

  Pros:The customer service is good, , espressos are ok, lots of outlets provided for for laptop work, conveniently located in Upper Montclair downtown. Cons : needs to be cleaner , very small layaout. it wouldn't hurt to get cushioned chairs.

  My order itself was good, as it usually is. But if you are a Starbucks Rewards member and you are participating in a promotion, I would suggest getting a receipt to make sure that the specific item you ordered was entered as such. Yesterday one of the items I needed to purchase for bonus points was a blonde vanilla latte. The young woman at the counter only entered a vanilla latte. When I noticed the discrepancy on my receipt, I told her about it. She said she had written blonde on the cup and I would receive the right drink. I tried to tell her that the correct item needs to be entered in order for the points to be added properly, but was met with a blank look. Sure enough, the points were wrong as a result. Fortunately Starbucks has a great phone customer service staff and this was rectified, but if the cashier had been aware of the need to enter the exact item ordered, it would have saved having to call up to get things fixed.

  Great place friendly staff. Always an excessively long wait. They need more staff. Actually, I think they need a much bigger space. They get a lot of school children right after school and the place is packed with young people under 15 -16 after school and on the weekends. Maybe Starbucks should consider a young people's Starbucks at this location? Or just expand this location. The staff are great and work very very hard and all of them deserve raises.
