::I asked the barista to change my drink to one with oat milk and I realized after I got sick at night that he gave me the exact drink that I returned that had whole milk in it. This was Saturday around 1:30 on.

::I usually have a good experience at this Starbucks but today the manager on Duty Xochi was not only rude but racist. I was asking the gentleman that was helping me if he had placed my pastry order and she jumped in and said we are just running behind so she can wait”with an attitude. I waited another couple minutes after everyone that ordered after me got their food order and pasty order. These were not mobile orders. After the couple minutes past Xochi told me they were out of what I ordered. So I asked for a refund and this really upset her because she started talking to me with her back turned towards me. Mind you she was never the person ringing me up someone else was but she chimed in the conversation. Then asked if they even placed my drink order and she said we don’t have cups it through a system and these are mobile orders. I again let her know I saw 2 people who order after me get their items. She then said well we can give you a refund for that as well. The lady making drinks must have felt a little bad about the way she was talking to me because she said she was making my drink for me now and I said it’s ok I’m going to get a refund on everything because I’ve never been treated like this at this Starbucks. Usually everyone is very pleasant and even knows me by name. But this manger on duty was horrible her customer service was horrible her tone her attitude was horrible and I’m a manger so there is no way I would be talking to my clients in the dismissive way this lady did.

::My friend and I got verbally assaulted by one of the workers on December 13th, 2022 at around 1:30pm. I needed to use the restroom before ordering. My friend attempted to follow me into the single stall bathroom with me ( Comfortable friends do this often). But apparently the store only allows one at a time, which we both respect. However the manner at which the blonde woman- (unfortunately I cannot describe her more but she was the only blonde haired worker during the shift on December 13th 2022 around 1:30pm ) unacceptable. She yelled at us, shocking the few costumers that had hoped to spend a peaceful time during the “slow hours” of the day. Not only did she raise her voice in a disrespectful, unprofessional, and frankly uncalled for manner, she repeated herself many times as if we were not actively listening. We were utterly shocked by the way she spoke to us. I still used the bathroom, trying to process what had just happened then politely left— without buying a drink as we were frightened to be addressed by this person again. I don’t want to be that person who writes bad reviews after a bad experience but this Starbucks is frequented by students and community members who must be protected from this type of harassment. It is not okay to create that hostile of an environment. Be better. Do better.

::I went into the starbucks at this location last Sunday, the 21st, around lunch time (1225pm-1228pm). There was a taller older man in front of me getting coffee. The barista lady got his coffee, and even asked if the cream that was put in was enough. He agreed, and slowly moved away. When it came to my turn, the lady greeted me with a hello. I proceeded to order a Venti Hot chocolate, Chocolate chip brownie and banana nut bread, requesting both not warmed up. I noticed on the register that she rang up the venti hot chocolate, but instead, entered a chocoalate chip cookie, and procceded to say, "anything else?" I stated to her that I didn't even order the cookie. She proceeded to say, "okay, not a problem, it's not a big deal, you do not have to have an attitude." I then repeated again, my order about the chocolate chip brownie and banana nut bread, in which she asked again, if I wanted it warmed up. I stated that I already stated I didn't want it warmed up already. She responded with being a little bit more irritated, by saying that, "well, sir, it is hard to hear with the mask." The only problem is that I was not even wearing a mask at the time, while she was, so I do not know where she got that conclusion from. The older gentleman in front of me, she had no problem listening to, because she was actually paying attention. When I pulled out a 20 dollar bill to pay, she snatched it out of my hand. On a scale of 1-10, felt like an 8. When she returned 8 dollars and change to me, she just slapped the money on the counter, in which I had to reach for it. It was just overall how she was with the older man in front and lady behind me, while gaslighting her interaction with me. I was coming from church, already in a suit, so how can the lady be irritated off the bat? I do not know. Hopefully, she has her attitude in order for everyone in the futrue, as opposed to select people she likes.

::During my most recent visit to this Starbucks location I had a question about how to redeem the rewards that were stacking up on app of my phone. A nice young man behind the counter took the time to explain to me - someone without a clue about how stuff like this reward program works. Thanks to him I walked out there in a matter of minutes with a refreshing drink after having finally redeemed a few of my "stars." That's one of the reasons why I gave this place five stars, I've gotten good service with a smile.
