  Definitely not gourmet and very expensive. They microwaved my breakfast sandwich, the salad leaves were mushy and it was all very gross. They said that the pastries were homemade, but they looked very much like store bought pastries. Will not be going back.

  I came after 5pm, so maybe that had something to do with it, but this is the quietest coffee shop I have ever been in, the ideal place to get some work done! Its a good thing I don't live closer, or I would come every day.

  Terrific atmosphere, outstanding cafe and retail business serving a wide variety of food, beverage, gelati, chocolates, nuts, and other popular items.

  Great omelettes (love the Alpine) great gelato, great affogatos! Awesome little cafe.

  Very good food, light fare. Very very strong customer service. International diversity, classy place, no not cheap either, but reasonable. Guessing 80% of the client are regulars, pretty much daily. Did I mention customer service is a strong point? Outside seating is rare in McLean, and they have it! Umbrellas for summer, but no heaters for winter.
