  I visit star wanted to join, but decided not too. A lot of equipment seems so close together place is small can’t walk without hitting into something. Price is very high, 500.00 per year. That’s a bit steep for the Bronx. The average income here is 45,000. Star you want to charge high prices go to Manhattan or Long Island there you will get 500. Plus not in the Bronx. I felt the place was all thrown together its extremely hard to walk you have to watch you don’t hit you head or bump into something and get hurt that’s all iron in there. The tour I took when I walked around their were sweat stains on the machines. Does anyone clean when they use it. Where’s the maintenance person that grossed me out members don’t clean it when they are done not worth 500.

  The owner is greedy, the air condition is non existent in the summer the place is hot especially when it is humid out. You sweat your balls off there in the summer no air condition have the fans going.1 maintenance guy for the whole gym sweat stains are all over the machines, the men’s room smells awful, like a zoo. Their isnt any paper towels or cleaning bottles around to clean the machines. Owner raised membership to 500.00 a year this is the Bronx the poorest borough not worth it. You want big bucks go on Long Island or Westchester, there you can get 500 to a 1,000 a year for membership. Yes you will pay more in property tax. And higher rent.

  Beautiful gym. Great equipment. Clean. Needs better staff. And parking during the day is rough.

  I've been to a decent amount of gyms and if you are going to a gym to actually work out and not for the amenities look no further. Tons of free weights and every machine you could need. Big enough to not feel too crowded. I was surprised by how laid back the majority of the people who go there are, even the juice heads
