::church is filled up with filthy third world supplicants, there must be free tacos and a welfare office inside this church, because none of those people really live around here unless the church bells make the dregs of humanity crawl out of basements and caves like roaches

::What a nasty racist parish. Wanted to get my daughter baptized and they refused to sign a document showing that my brother had received communion at their church. Their attitude is the reason why most people do not go to church. Lady of refuge is so much more diverse and accomidating.

::the bells and melodies dont stop! no schedule whatsoever. ringing all hours of day. specially inconsiderate during early hours of saturday and sunday. a few times melodies were playing as late as 10 at night. I dont understand what they are trying to do. If you looking to advertise Christ start by being considerate to those around you

::All you reviewers are sinners and full of hate. You will pay the ultimate price for your resentment toward the will of god. Any who stand against the church stand against god. I hope you enjoy your seats in hell heathens.

::Many changes to this parish over the years. Unfortunately not for the better. The old school located alongside the church has been changed dramatically. Permanent extensions have been built and any references to it being a catholic school have been removed. It is now a City of NY Charter School. Yellow school buses park up and down the neighborhood blocking private driveways as well as creating unnecessary traffic. The church itself has received new bells which were welcomed at first because they were silent for so many years but they quickly have become a nuisance. In the old days, the church bells were rung at midday and 6pm on a daily basis. Now, not only do they ring but they've also included musical tones which are so extremely loud. To residents who live around the church, it has become a nightmare. They ring the bells hourly starting from 7am all the way to 11pm. Between those hours they play musical tones at the half hour & 10 minutes to the hour. So all day long you're dealing with bells and musical tones. Imagine dealing with that everyday. No peace. Sunday is the absolute worst day of the week for these tones & bells. It's like they handed the controls over to a 5 year old child. Requests to the church to have them reconsider the frequency of these musical tones & bells have been completely ignored. So much for tolerance. It is a shame really considering how the church was run in the old days at Parkville Ave. Completely different. St. Rose of Lima has gone from being a beacon of light to becoming the neighborhood menace.
