::This church is very old in a good way. It has a rich history as the priests also used to teach at St. Mary's high school which was down the street on Polk until the 1990s. Their choir is beautiful. Masses during the week are popular also. Start at 12:05. Sundays' Masses are longer. Very cool place to get to know especially if you are Catholic or interested in becoming a Catholic.

::+JMJ...Church history just pours from the main and side altars! For believers and non-believers alike the architecture, paintings and statues are worthy of admiration. I entered this historical Church building, a house of worship and prayer, with awe and interest. Was able to join the community for a week-day Holy Mass. Was surprised to see that so many took time from their work schedules spending their lunch break to enter into the spiritual oasis of refreshing prayer. Walked around the lovely, lush grounds and was pleasantly surprised by the life-sized statue of the holy pope, now a Saint, Pope John Paul II. Wished I lived closer than Cottonwood so as to be able to stop in from time to time just to sit in the quiet of this holy house.
