Had the aces high, two single origin coffees and a single origin espresso. It is like a beer or whiskey flight but for coffee. Pretty amazing stuff. If I lived in Minneapolis this would be my main coffeeshop.

Great local spot for coffee! Wish they would have more food options and often the donuts are sold out. Also can get a bit busy so be prepared to hunt for a table during high time.

They've got the fundamentals down pat. Their espresso is delicious. their rotating pour over and brewed coffee is listed at the register with clear tasting notes. They've partnered with a local bakery to get premium local baked goods. It's all amazing, and their specialty items on the menu aren't just twists on common drinks. You can get a flight of their current coffees plus a shot of espresso as one of their specials, while another, the hit and run, is a shot of espresso for there and then a 10oz coffee to go. Genuinely a superb coffee shop, and due to their location, my regular go to.

Very rude staff. Mare us feel uncomfortable for taking our time while ordering. Afterwards, they did not let the kids eat the food we brought from home on a snowy day with temps in the 20s. Had to move the kids back in the car so they could finish their lunch. Very negative experience. There are plenty of other coffee houses around, avoid this one

Minnesota does local coffee pretty well - I'm not talking about Caribou, I'm referring to all of the other local coffee shops that have popped up in the various parts of downtown, uptown, St. Paul, etc. I stopped by the Uptown location on Saturday, which was the first 50 degree day we've had in months, so the city was alive. Not quite warm enough for an iced coffee, so I settled on the Spy Girl. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but lavender coffee has been all of the rage as of late. I don't know where it came from, but I can tell you why it's trending - it's delicious. It's not the best lavender latte that I've had, but it was still really good. I gave the place 4 stars only because there's a serious lack of seating when it's busy. The service was good. Not great, but good. I'll definitely be back again soon.
