  Absolute rip-off of a store. The owner should be investigated for false advertising and knowingly selling goods that are not funtional.

  Bought a hidden camera from them and was much obliged by the help considering I'm not too tech savvy.. Definitely coming back here.

  This store is a rip off today i went to give the owner her defaulted camera back. she was very rude and unprofessional at first she sold me a device camera that i couldn't take out the SD-card out of the slot. Because it stay stuck all the time u had to use safety pin to get it out. I mention to her about the situation and she lied about this. her employee gave me another camera that don't work on the computer this one doesn't stay charge at all when i spoke to him about changing this device he told the owner he can't help meI I didn't get the service i need nor a refund or exchange never purchased anything out this store the owner is big rip off she told her employee not to give me a new one this device was used old rejected and finished the owner is a scammer don't buy nothing out of this store.

  got a CCTV hidden camera system from them. Great job hiding the wires great job with the tech support and getting it running on my cellphone

  Spent $3,000 on a system that's not working. The owner is bored and tired trying to do the proper trouble shooting. He makes appointments quickly, and never shows up. Doesn't even call me ever to cancel. Simply doesn't show up. It might have been a great shop many years ago when the previous owner ran the place, but now it stinks! I threw $3,000 into the garbage!!!!.... and I'm not a wealthy person who can afford to discard $3,000! I contacted the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, newspapers, and I'm going to contact the US State Attorney's Fraud division. This is a total and complete fraudulent business. I didn't realize the store was no longer owned by the original founder who obviously knew what HE was doing when I paid the cash upfront. So sorry I didn't read the reviews! The review with the criminal selling faulty equipment is on this review site. Steven Demeter, the son of the original Spy Shop. He states he's been in business since 1960. EXCUSE ME!!!??? He's 38 years old. So this means he was 8 years old when he owned the business in 1960! He gave himself 5 stars to bring up the average rating. Additionally, there are "fake" people giving ratings, no name, giving him high ratings. This is how he achieved a 2 star rating rather than a one star. Do what I did and report him to the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs and the State Attorney Generals Office. Stealing $3,000 from me is unconscionable! Interesting, another 5 star rating is by Leticia Intriago. Ho Hum! Guess who that is!!!!!!!!
