  Used to live there. My apartment was great, everything else was just meh. I was the first person to move into my apartment and they said that they had negotiated a deal with LA Fitness for a discount on the membership, which when I went to talk to the gym said they hadn’t heard of anything like that. Very disappointing.

  Mediocre complex. It was great when I first moved in, but now it's getting tiring trying to get a hold of management. Calling the front office is a joke because there's no one ever there to pick up. You have to personally walk down there to talk to someone (They are usually there just no idea why they never pick up). The dog run on the roof is full of dog poop because majority of the tenants don't pick up after their dogs and management doesn't care at the least bit despite some of the employees of spruce with dogs actually live in the complex itself. I'm confused as to why they don't at the very least advocate additional penalties for lazy dog owners. There is black mold or some sort of nasty growth on the dog run turf as well. It is absolutely nasty, given how it's built, there is poor drainage and the sprinkler system to 'drain' all the pee will turn on if you're whether you're there or not. Water sits there under the turf (you can hear it swashing around) so you know that can't be healthy. I like the building, love my 'apartment unit' but there is so much more competition in West Seattle now that you can get a comfortable apartment anywhere near by, it was the original people in the front office and amenities that originally sold me to this place.

  The Spruce is an excellent living community with a friendly staff, modern apartments and great amenities. Highly recommended.

  Stephen at spruce specifically has gone above and beyond to make my situation easier and help me. From moving in to an MFTE unit, to every other step along the way of renting, Stephen has been there with a smile and a wonderful personable approach to help with the easy and hard stuff. I cannot thank him enough!- Alanna L.

  Just want to take time and say thank you to the Staff at Spruce West Seattle! I was desperate to find a one bedroom apt, I shopped around for almost 6 months, starting from West Seattle to Ballard. I kept going back to Spruce! the vibrant soft colorful, spacious, clean hallways was by far the best I had seen on the market, and I remember saying to myself yes I want to walk through a space like this before I go home every day. THE STAFF ARE SUPER AMAZING! As annoying as I was at times with my questions and concerns, never did they make me feel unwelcomed, most places will not even entertain your questions after you show up the first time and say I will have to go think about it. They worked with me whenever I showed up or called! I had an issue with my hallway not having any color on the wall as the others, the day I picked my key they had painted the hallway without me knowing it. I was so shocked and happy! Stephen the Assistant Manager and Jamie the Manger are hands down awesome when it comes to customer care! They truly understand customer service, and here I was thinking Toyota customer service is exceptional LOL! I choose West Seattle Spruce apartment because of their exceptional customer services! Pro: I love living here. Great place to live, best choice ever! Cons: it will difficult to leave when the time comes! And I hope management never changes!
