::I'm moving onto the 8th grade next year, and i'm very thankful that I had the opportunity to attend Spring Meadows for seven amazing years. After two years of now being a middle schooler, I'd like to once again thank this school for teaching me everything I learned. would never change my experience for a thing. Hi Mrs.Schmidt!!!

::My daughter loves the school and staff. Education is always key. Safety is Definitely priority. In the years we've been with spring meadows elementary there is no doubt that any issues are taken with seriousness and compassion.

::I feel like the teachers care about the students. After hurricane Harvey it did get pretty over populated but the teachers have gone above and beyond to make sure the kids are getting quality education. I’ve only had issues with one teacher and the rest are so caring. The office staff is amazing and love their students and parents! If their is issues and you speak with the teachers 99.9% of the time they handle it immediately. Every school is going to have s teacher or two who each parent doesn’t like but as a whole I truly enjoy this school and so do my children!

::I removed both of my children because this is absolutely one of the worst schools ive ever seen and i have to say it isnt just the teachers fault. Starting with the teachers. They are underpaid, over worked, and stressed out. I have come in to contact with a number of teachers who are simply working to make a pay check, as well as an incredible amount of prejudices from teachers toward students. (Any amount is too much) The school does not receive enough funding so it doesnt even have a playground or equipment ie basketballs soccer football four square etc. They have minimal toys that the children all fight over. The land behind the school is huge and could house a wonderful playground. The older kids are on one side of the school and that whole side could be turned into a garden. You need play to grow, every single person, even animals at the zoo have to have some kind of stress relief. Then they are restricted to silent lunches far too often. The curriculum is delivered in a way that isnt conducive for a healthy learning system. They sit at a desk and fill out paper work. All. Day. Long. And call this structure. Its not learning. its copying something onto a paper repeatedly for a week and then doing the same thing next week. Forgetting what you copied the week before. About the parents, Very few of the children going to this school have any obvious signs of intellect most of the children walk around in drone mode and blankly do what they are told and then are given tablets and cell phones as substitute parents. The mojority of kids first grade and under at this location cannot articulate themselves properly and are stuck speaking baby babble because the parents nor the teachers are spending any individual time with each student. Its sad. It is a cycle of ignorance that is border line abuse. I feel terrible for any child who has been through that school. Pros: Well, the only thing i could say this school has going for it is there is still hope. If the community would stand together and demand more for and of themselves, and their children, the situation could be salvaged.
