  When I injured my knee in March 2018, I was advised that I had a partial tear in my meniscus that before even considering any type of surgery, I should try physical therapy first. I was referred to Sports Care Therapy, Farmingdale by a friend and I couldn't be more pleased with the office. The staff is all pleasant and the place is well kept and very clean. I have nothing but wonderful things to say. My Physical Therapist, Erica is truly the best She has been helping me with pain management, flexibility, balance and muscle strengthening. I definitely see and feel a difference since March, when I came in. Erica is extremely professional, caring, patient and always has a smile on, even when you confess that you have not done all of your home exercises.. She works so closely with each patient, that you feel like you are the only one she is working with. My knee is much better and although I have a long way go before I am back to normal, I wouldn't want to be in any other PT office. I would highly recommend SportsCare Physical Therapy in Farmingdale to all of my family and friends. This office treats you just like you are Family.   This is my second time I’ve been to Sportscare, first with my shoulder and this time with Sciatica . The Staff are above all, caring and helpful towards a speedy recovery and proper changes in my lifestyle to avoid repeated injury. That’s the key right there. People who care about you, and want you to get and stay better. This time I was helped by Christine who is very patient and thorough with my treatment. Asking about the details of my discomfort and being able to administer therapy with the human touch. Your not just a number there, I give them the highest of recommendations

  I was a patient at SportsCare PT for 4 weeks with Dr. Erica Martello. I couldn't turn my neck and had pain thru my shoulder and down my arm from some herniated discs. At the end of my treatment I had full range of motion in my neck and my herniated discs thru exercise, ice, heat, stim, massage, laser and manipulations had the pain reduced to the point that I didnt have to get an epidural in the back of my neck. Erica is terrific and I am a happy camper!!

  I highly recommend SportsCare PT to all struggling with Orthopedic issues. Christine and Erica are a fantastic tandem at SportsCare Physical therapy. They are both very intelligent, talented therapists who found a program that was tailored to my needs to ultimatley get me back to running. I can not thank Christine and Erica enough for helping me through this frustrating process, and getting me back to where I want to be! For any future problems I will no doubt be heading back to SportsCare.

  I have been a patient at SportsCare, on and off, over the last 13 years for various running-related injuries. John and the team at SportsCare have always been prompt, knowledgeable, accommodating, and understanding in their services and treatment. Over the years, John has helped me to understand not only the bio-mechanical processes behind my injuries, but how I can work to improve any related muscle/connective tissue inadequacies that led to injury in the first place. The team at SCPT has worked hard to push me to become as independent as possible in my healing, which has greatly helped me return to normal levels of activity. I am forever grateful for everything that the team at SC has done for me.
