::I REALLY like this restaurant and bar in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Whenever I have entertaining someone who does not normally come to Indy, and I want to impress them with an ambiance that is both classy and comfortable I take them to Spoke and Steele. The menue changes seasonally, they have a good number of local (3 or more) and national or international draft beers (3 or more) to choose from, plus a martini, house drink, and mixed drink selection that is unique and seasonal. The hotel it is attached too is also very lovely, but I have not stayed there as a guest.

::The food was very good. 5 people and no complaints. Our server Bailey did not make us feel rushed. Between her and Chef Simpson it made our progress through dinner very smooth. Can't wait to come back!

::This place is awesome! Best food Ive had in Indianapolis. Small and quant. Food is wholesome and organic. The staff is super friendly and attentive. A precious gem worth checking out.

::Great atmosphere, good drinks, great board. Steak was cooked really well and seasoned perfectly. We were in a bigger party and half were late. Service was a little slow, but that is to be expected during a busy time and a large party. The server was a really nice guy, seemed to know hos way around the menu really well. Overall, very well done, we'll be back.

::When you walk in, it looks like a hip and trendy place. My girlfriend and I, visiting from out of town, sat at a modern booth for two close to the bar. With its fun and attractive aesthetic, we were excited to begin our evening. But you can't always read a book by its cover. We waited at least 15 minutes before we received a menu. Another 25 minutes until we received the bartender (not even a server), who asked if we had been served yet (which we had not). It was clear that we were never assigned a server, and when we finally had to wave someone down, nobody took accountability for the extreme delay in every phase of ordering. After it was clear that they had messed up, a server came and took our order, then the bartender brought us the wrong drinks. We then cancelled our entree orders, knowing that it would probably take another three hours and we would be treated with passiveness and contempt. A deduction on the check or even an apology would've been suitable.
