::I was a little disappointed during a recent lunch visit. Obviously the location is pretty sketchy, but I was willing to overlook that since I was already in the area. Based on the name, I was hoping for a somewhat healthier meal, but what I got was pretty greasy. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but just heavy and not really what I expected based on the name. It was also pretty expensive considering the neighborhood and atmosphere ($15-20 for a basic lunch)

::Good food with vegetarian options as well. I got the garbanzo soup and half of their chicken sandwich. Both were very good, but I thought the cost was a bit high for the amount of food I received.

::Delicious and exciting lunch options. Love coming here for the salads. Highly recommend for lunch in SOMA at a reasonable price, especially for the quality.

::A bright spot in a challenging neighborhood, Split Pea Seduction serves a light counter service menu with delicious, fresh, unique offerings. I had a squash salad (green salad with butternut squash, fried sage, and golden raisins with a lemon vinaigrette) and it was scrumptious. Generous portion sizes as well!

::Tasty, creative soups and sandwiches. They have specials changing daily including flatbreads with various toppings for something less than a sandwich but more interesting to accompany your soup than a plain slice of bread. Quick and friendly take-out service and prices are about par for the course for the area. No space for seating inside or out (not that you'd want to sit outside on 6th St) but there are parks nearby.
