::Specialty's Cafe & Bakery is a Downtown Cafe/Bakery that specializes in weekday only, breakfast and lunch. 30-40 people crowd on a Tuesday afternoon. To drink I had a Small Golden Cafe Latte, which was Peet’s Latte infused with turmeric, ginger and honey and topped with rich and creamy foam. The Turmeric gives the drink a golden color. Peet’s says it has a Nice balance of espresso with notes of Ginger & honey with a touch of sweetness is Rich & creamy from steamed milk. I thought it was very tasty and will order again (woke up craving this morning) Overall, the staff great staff and service! My drink was prepared quickly, everyone was friendly, and the Cafe tables and condiment areas were kept very clean, even during the lunch rush.

::Hard to believe I'm writing a review of a chain restaurant, but the staff behind the counter could not have been friendlier. Combined with fast wifi and beautiful location in the lobby, it’s been a thoroughly pleasant lunch/work session this afternoon. Will make this a regular spot next time I'm in DTLA.

::A fine meal until I bit onto one of the cocao nibs that came with the chocolate truffles.... hard as gravel... pretty sure I cracked a molar tooth.... so thanks, BOKA!! Maybe warn people about that.... or, better yet, nix the nibs altogether!
