  Specially produce is known as the best place to get the highest quality produce at the best price but not anymore. They still have superior quality but have gone the way of the supermarkets and gouge their prices, which can be embarrassing as they post no prices and you are forced to ask an employee for everything. I would rather they have stuck with two registers and great prices than this wannabe supermarket upgrade they have done. I miss the old Specialty, Bob. Ps. The layout is confusing, get aisle signs or a map if your becoming a supermarket.

  I go into specialty on a regular basis to pick up awesome oddities for my restaurant kitchen. I am always greeted by various employees with a smile and offers to help me find anything specific. If I need help the specialty family is more than happy to walk me to any specific item I so desire. Let me tell you, ive worked in various restaurants in the San Diego area and have ALWAYS been completely satisfied with the services rendered from Specialty Produce. They have built a brand reputation that will always proceed itself. Thank you.

  Huge selection, but I feel like you fly blind because there aren't any prices until you check out. If you are product shopper, that's fine but I'm price conscious so it was very difficult to decide what to buy. The products seem similar in price to the farmer's market.

  Went there for the first time today, it was very cold-I wasn't dressed properly. I love this place, I will go back for sure. Note: there was one employee that was kind of rude (I didn't get her name), she immediately pretented she didn't understand me because I am Asian, I live here more than my country & I speak English very well. Sarah, however, was wonderful & very helpful!
