  Aracelli Gonzales has a magic touch. She feels my pain and knows where to look for the source of the pain. You have to be patient, as with MFR you don't get the heavy pressure you expect with traditional massage. Initially it feels like there is no effect, but after my third treatment I felt that finally what seemed like a solid wooden set of muscles started getting a range of motion. Any other massage lasted for a day for me, but this treatment felt more lasting and gives me hope that my problem could be solved for good.

  This really helped me with shooting pain in my knee and numbness in my thigh. Thank you Aracelli for your razor sharp focus on my little problem. So happy it's a passing thing.

  I had a great experience at Southwest Physical Therapy. I had been having a variety of strange muscular and what seemed to be neurological symptoms for a while that no one was really able to help me with. The work at South West Physical Therapy really helped me to figure out what was going on and helped to put an end to all the strange symptoms.

  Southwest Physical Therapy completely changed my life! I lived with severe, chronic back pain from 2009 to 2013. These years were difficult, and I had given up hope that my body would ever feel normal again. After a few sessions with Michael and Aracelli I experienced the first relief from this pain in years. As we continued for several months, I experienced a complete reversal in my body. I still have occasional discomfort, but this is not even close to the debilitating pain I once experienced every single day. Michael and Aracelli also provide ongoing support by suggesting therapies that work at home. Even when I do not receive treatment from Southwest, they have taught me restorative poses, and how to use props at home to reduce my pain. I would recommend this therapy for anyone wishing to relieve pain anywhere in their body. Not only are they exceptionally talented physical therapists, but they are also very warm and kind people that care about your feeling better.

  When I showed up for my first appointment at Southwest Physical Therapy, I was in so much pain I could barely walk. I had a herniated disc with constant shooting pain down my leg from the sciatic nerve. I had already been to countless PT, chiropractor and doctor appointments in Manhattan where I felt like I was pretty much run through a factory. None of those visits helped with the pain. Southwest was an entirely different experience. I have never had this kind of care. Michael and Aracelli addressed the problem immediately, and gave me great advice on how to deal with chronic pain on both a physical and mental level. They are fantastic: I went from being in pain 24 hours a day for three months to living virtually pain free. Their techniques are a bit outside the box, but that's exactly why it works. For me it was a leap of faith that absolutely paid off. I can't recommend them highly enough.
