  EVERYTHING a DIYer needs right in the neighborhood. Fair prices for a family-owned hardware store. Not only do they have what you need, it feels like going back in time before corporations took over modern society. Plus check out the unique merchandise counter near the paint section.

  This place is an institution. Free popcorn, like any good hardware store should have. Low on internal signage, so it might seem like a daunting layout, but there are plenty of well informed staff to help you find what you're looking for. PRO TIP : Take advantage of free ship to store from the Ace Hardware website.

  As a business who is female & family owned, Southland Hardware is an amazing place to do business. We will never go anywhere else for our repair needs. After a break in at our shop, we needed assistance picking up boards to close off the break in entry point. They were kind enough to deliver them to us free of charge in our time of need when they heard of the incident. Kind and very understanding people. I feel lucky to call them fellow business owners in the neighborhood. Thank you, Southland! We won't forget the kindness you showed to us and the incredible customer service.

  I came in for a drain snake, Pine-Sol, and cleaning vinegar. I was not disappointed. As weird as it sounds, I had a great time at this hardware store. The staff exceeds hardware store expectations, and the selection is incredible. I could spend hours browsing. Next time I need some kind of home item, I'm checking for it here first.

  SUPER Friendly and helpful staff. They really do and “almost” everything. My favourite go to guy is Matt - very knowledgeable about almost any DIY home or auto project I throw at him. There’s a popcorn machine in store where you can grab a bit while you shop. Don’s let the cluttered appearance and narrow aisles fool you, this place is really well laid out! I was about to navigate like a breeze by my second time in. Not only is Southland my favourite Hardware store, I’d say it’s my favourite store. Period!
