  They did a fantastic job on our inside. Couldn’t be happier, even replaced a door frame our puppy destroyed to perfection. Going to call them again to do our outside.

  They are fast and organized, and the certificate always comes out the same day as requested. It is hard to find anyone who can beat their pricing quotes, for the superior quality of work they put out. They are very professional and easy to deal with, I haven’t seen anything less than top of the line work come from them. Highly recommend this company, they always do an outstanding job!

  Had an appointment for Chris White to come out and give me an estimate on painting the outside of my house. It's an older house which means old lead paint and a more complicated job. I made sure they knew all the details before coming out. After a quick look around the house Chris said "I think I'll pass". Ok that's fine, but when I asked why, since I had given all the details of the job before he came out, he repeatedly refused to say why he didn't want to paint my house even though I said it was OK, and I just wanted to know why, he would only repeat over and over again "I'm going to pass on this". I was unsettled, because the only thing I had left to think was that he didn't like my neighborhood, didn't think I had enough money to make it worth his time, or simply didn't like me from my appearance. He left and I called the office to explain what had happened, to make sure that he'd known the scope of the job before he'd come out and to try to get a reason why he would have treated me like that. The lady I talked to was very nice, seemed confused by Chris's actions, and said she would talk to him and his supervisor and get back to me. Well it's been a week and still no word from Southern Painting. The actual painters might be great, I never got as far as seeing how their pricing compares, but unless you are looking for someone that leaves you feeling judged for your age, income, or race I'd avoid Southern Painting.
