  Had a great experience with Southern First when I bought my first real estate property. I worked with John Terry and Laura Keefer, both were very professional and helpful. I highly recommend them to those who need residential or commercial real estate loan.

  I opened a checking account with Southern First Bank about fifteen months ago. And I'd give it ten stars if that were an option. From the very beginning their employees have represented the bank in a professional and friendly manner. I enjoy face to face service and it's hard to find people who are genuinely happy to serve you. They are quick to return calls as well when I've had questions and send general emails to follow up on any banking needs I may have. You show me a happy employee and I'll show you a thriving business. It obviously reflects on the company management as well. I easily see Southern First Bank expanding even more in the Triangle area. A special shout out to Lisa Brown and Lauren Schlafer for their excellent service. In the 40 plus years I've banked with other well known banks I can say I 've never received customer service of the quality as I have with Southern First. I'm very glad they have expanded to NC.

  I have opened my first account in Raleigh's Southern First Bank Branch and it has been a very good experience! The staff have been so nice and warm, I can say they have treated me like a princess, this people are so attentive, informative and do a hard work on making you feel comfortable putting your money in their bank. This bank has facilities to open different accounts, where you can open, receive and withdraw funds without so many charges and fees as other banks do, as well as a very user friendly internet banking app. All I can say is that so far so good and with closed eyes I can recommend anyone to do business with Southern First Bank.

  Southern First has been one of the best banks I've ever had. The ladies that work there are always very sweet and helpful with whatever I need, even when I am in a hurry. This bank provides excellent account options and mobile banking which I use often. I've never paid monthly fees for anything and there's no minimum I need to keep in my account. Plus, the bank is incredibly beautiful inside!
