::Great place. Very modern. Great staff. Really enjoyed my visit. Good food and drinks. You pay a bit more then average, but definitely worth it. I will return. Adrienne was a great server.

::While Mother's Day is Beyond crowded we surprisingly found a easy parking place and when we entered we were told there was a 40-minute wait. But one of the managers came up and said there was room at the bar so we bellied up to the bar. The bartender was great there even at even though we were with our daughter who was 16, he made her feel right at home. We of course ordered the biscuits as a pre-order we really enjoy them. In for our meals my daughter ordered the chicken pot pie and my wife and I split the fish & Grits and collards. The fish was hot and tasty the collards were great the Grits were very good. My daughter was surprised when they bought the chicken pot pie because the chicken in it was formed in the shape of a chicken. She really got a kick out of that, we all enjoyed the meal my wife for Mother's Day enjoy the couple of mimosas my daughter also picked up a Coke and I had water. It was absolutely great that they were able to seat us instead of a 40 minute wait. This is the third time we've been to South Kitchen in every single time we've enjoyed it I'd like to thank the bartender Tommy he was great, as he doubled as our waiter and server. We will assuredly be going back to visiting South kitchen again.

::Very disappointing! Our server was very sweet and the ambiance was very nice, but, the Kitchen was REALLY slow. It took forever to have our meals come to the table and the food was way overpriced for the quality!! My fries were crunchy and my husband’s burger was not properly prepared to temperature. The fried chicken batter was way too thick and salty and the chicken was over fried and dry. We spoke to the burly manager with the beard and he could have cared less that we did not have a good experience. He just shrugged his shoulders and said sorry and then walked off. What the heck?? This sealed the deal for us, no thanks-not coming back!!

::My husband and I frequent Jacksonville quite a bit for our jobs. This restaurant came highly recommended from a customer, and after experiencing the food, drinks and atmosphere, we could not have been more pleased. Our bartender and server Thomas and Justin recommended several appetizers, entrees & drinks and they were all amazing! All dishes and drinks were so unique and a nice change from your “so-so” restaurants. Short ribs, fried oysters & any of the bourbon drinks are the way to go!! We will be back!

::I love this place! It’s a great place to have a large party. They were very accommodating and pleasant when i through a surprise party last month. The staff was inviting and made our dining experience pleasurable. The menu needs a little work (especially the bland salmon and vegetables I had) but overall it was pretty decent!
