::I have been twice to this salon and would not go back. The first time I was not impressed with the work done for the price point they are at, but I wanted to give them another chance and I ended up regretting it. I met with Igor to discuss the look I was aiming for (blonde balayage) and the possible risks going to a shade in that color wheel. He stated that with my color, the worst that could happen was that my hair would not take the color and would be golden toned rather than the ashy tone I wanted. He said he would just balance the highlights I already had from my prior visit if he thought anything else could happen. He colored my hair and it turned pink. He also completely fried the ends to the extent he said it was un-salvageable and stated he had to cut my hair. I was never coming in for a hair cut in the first place, but as my hair was ruined, I agreed because he could not get rid of the pink he said and that "I would never be able to style my hair" if he didn't cut it. He ended up cutting off half my length off, which only got it to a reasonable state, there is still some of the color lingering but going shorter was impossible. The color also wasn't even balayage, he just dyed me completely blond. After 6+ hours of him ruining my hair, he and the manager dared try to charge me full for the color, AND cut, and a conditioning treatment I didn't even know happened nor was asked if I wanted. When I stated that this was unfair as he ruined my hair and I wanted to speak to the owner, the manager passively aggressively stated that I would never get further than her as all inquiries and complaints go to her first. They made excuses, stated that he told me it could turn pink (which is a lie, and who would ever agree to that if you were consulted that was a possible outcome?) and stated that I was "robbing them" by asking for a discount. Not only am I livid about how my hair ended up, I am angry at how the situation was handled on a customer service level. The things they said to me after were unacceptable to a customer, let alone a customer who just had their hair completely ruined by an impatient stylist looking to upsell me. It was unethical and I should not have paid for this.
