::Great little museum with knowledgeable curators. They give a detailed tour of the building and operations, which includes a demo of the switches and breaker board. You even get to throw some of the levers yourself! The building is in good shape and it's clear a ton of love went into getting all the mechanical/electrical systems working again. Highly recommended for anyone interested in trains or the history of the area.

::Recently visited the Switch Tower Museum, which was not planned on my trip to Connecticut; but it was definitely worth it. Entrance into the museum is free, it's a very small walk up, however; the tour guides are so informative, they even let you "throw levers". I would definitely recommend making a stop here, especially if you have kids that are interested in train. Short walk from the Maritime Aquarium

::Interesting tiny gem of a museum right over the RR tracks. Enlivens a little-known bit of our rail history... Knowledgeable docents, friendly atmosphere - and the trains do whiz by! Good location in SoNo and worth a visit for kids and parents, both.
