  Stayed for 2 nights at the Sonesta for a work conference and the Sonesta team did an excellent job. The common areas at the hotel look and feel as though they were redone recently. They felt a bit upscale but not fancy. They were comfortable and inviting. The conference space was great and the team at the hotel was extremely accommodating. The conference food was fantastic. It really exceeded our expectations. Couldn't recommend this place enough for a conference. The rooms were ok. They could use some love, but they weren't bad by any means. They just felt dated. Location was wonderful too. Close to tons of restaurants and plenty else. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! ♥️

  Not a resort, just a nice hotel with a pool and a restaurant. Good place for those looking for a quality room to sleep, but fails at amenities. Nothing to do in the actual hotel. TV has only local cable and not even ppv service. Everything is extremely expensive with a 19% service charge on top of it. $30 for vallet parking per night. Beware.

  Great location on the Grove. Very small rooms but clean and comfortable. We came for brunch at 1110a on Sunday and restaurant closed between 11 and noon. How could you do that, especially when people are checking out and looking for a place to eat?!

  For our wedding we had a lot of family members and friends stay at the Sonesta Hotel Residences. They truly made the experience feel special and once in a lifetime. My husband and I spent our wedding night there, and even as locals, our heart was transported to some unknown paradise. One weird thing is Sonesta block rates asked for all our wedding information including room number in effort to give us a gift, but when they realized our room was rented from a private owner the hotel was unable to deliver or notify us. A little bit of confusion exists at the property due to private residents mixed with hotel guests.

  The Lobby of the Sonesta is very nice and modern. However, once you take the elevator to your floor you start to notice it's dated and when you get to your room it's like something from the 70s. My room was a deluxe, which basically means 2 beds and a sink. I ordered service one night and that was polite and prompt. I envoys my meal very much. WiFi was easy to connect to and the speed was adequate. Overall the Sonesta Coconut Grove is average at best. It is convenient for business, so would likely stay again.
