  Stopped by here to see if they could fix my Ray ban frames, who would've known I would leave not just with them being repaired, but another set of sunglasses. The store is located on glen cove road with ample parking. There were a few other customers there but I was quickly seen by one of their employees. What's great is that unlike other optical stores, they weren't trying to push any of their products just to make a sale. While they were repairing my frames, I had time to wonder through the store and decided it's time to get myself a pair of new shades. Their collection of Maui Jim's are up to date with the current styles, from which I picked up one of their wafer designs. I had them custom adjusted to better fit my face. The whole experience was very quick and smooth. I would definitely come again to fill my script and to get new shades.

  My wife and I recent went to SOHO Optique for new glasses. The place was clean and staff was very accommodating while we each waited for each others eye exams. Dr. Veronica examined me and told me I had high blood pressure, which I confirmed a few days later by going to my cardiologist to check. He started me on medication. Thank goodness Dr. Veronica did such a thorough exam. My wife and I walk out of SoHo Optique with 5 pairs of glasses. The selection is great, the prices are right, and they have the best Doctor ! This is one stop shopping, if you care about your eyes, don't go anywhere else. Randolph L.

  The staff were exceptionally courteous and the store and selection were fantastic. They give you very personalized, attentive care. But beware they will pressure you into buying things and resorting to medically false scare tactics to upsell you. As a clinician, I knew some of their claims were medically dubious (including the old wives tale that if you don't constantly keep your eyeglass prescription up to date your eyesight deteriorates. Eye glasses do nothing to prevent vision changes. Eat well, exercise, keep up your PCP/ophthalmologist appointments and don't get diabetes to preserve your vision.). I let the salesperson keep going to see how far he'd stretch his exaggerations, and they prompted me to post this review. Just do your homework on the products they up sell before you buy, and this is true regarding any medical product.
