::I booked this place for a friend's birthday. I called brandy and she was able to willingly let us have VIP on short notice. I booked it for 12 people, however when we showed up, they gave us an area suitable for 4 people. I asked the waitress to move us and she agreed. There was no customer service. We kept having to go to the bar to order. what is the point of VIP?? that did not bother me as much as we were determined to have a great night. initially the music was ok. WE asked the DJ to play a song and he said he does not take requests. again we tried to make the best of our night. prior to coming, they told us that it would bottles were half off. When it was time to check out, the waitress charged me full price. Which initially i would not have noticed if i were drunk. I told her about the false charge and she said she would refund it. she comes back and says its taken care of and asks for my card. She charges me the 1/2 off. the next day I check my account and the original amount was still charged. So I paid 1.5X for one bottle. I have tried for several weeks to call Brandy and she gives me the run around or will not return my calls. I have tried texting and it was not until i threatened to go to social media that she returned my calls. i gave her more time like she asked but i have yet to get my refund or hear from her. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! THEY ARE BANKING ON YOU BEING DRUNK TO STEAL FROM YOU!!!.

::This is a cool bar that is often overlooked due to its location right off of Meridian Street. Always a mix of young and old, with a great drink selection. Very knowledgeable barstaff and great music every time I go in. If you haven't been to Social, go check them out!
