What an amazing place. To begin, I was sincerely bummed out when I found out that the mobile clinics were no longer operating, as all of the clinic locations are so very far from me. That said, I made an appointment online, and a couple of days later followed up, after which I was contacted by the clinic and we set up an appointment for our dog to be neutered. We were to register our pet between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m., but we left the house at around 6 just to beat traffic and possibly be first in line. It's a good thing we did, as the vehicle we traveled in did not have a working GPS. To begin, Durham is listed on both Mapquest and Google as "Durham, S". just "Durham" AND "N. Durham" and the address I used when mapping, was 'S. Durham', so of course we couldn't find it and spent forever on 18th street (1801 address) and N. Durham going around in circles. What anyone in the same situation needs to simply remember, is that the clinic is on the SW CORNER of Durham Dr. and I-10 (Katy Freeway), in the same shopping strip as a Starbucks. Luckily, I had printed out the appointment confirmation and saw it said this on it as I was ready to call them and ask for coordinates. /sigh Once there, you approach the front desk, sign in, and are asked how you will pay, or for paperwork (proof) which shows you are receiving some type of government assistance. You are then given a form to fill out with information, such as your name, your pet's name and age, and any of your pet's health issues (pretty standard stuff). After you return the form to the front desk, you sit and wait until you are called to a room by a technician In our case, the wait for the technician was less than 10 minutes. The technician asks you routine health questions about your pet, weighs the pet, goes over the procedure, then takes your pet to the back, after which you again sit in the waiting room until called by the front desk for 'check-out'. Once called for check out (the wait was around 10-15 minutes as they were busy with new arrivals), you pay, and can make a donation if you are being granted the spay or neuter through benefits. The 'normal donation' is $3, but I HIGHLY suggest donating whatever more you can spare, as you are technically saving little animal's lives by helping to keep the unwanted population down BEFORE they are ever conceived. You are informed about pick-up times which I believe are different for dogs and cats, and then you are given your receipt. I believe the clinic then closes once the appointments for the day have all been registered and reopens in the evening for pet pick-up. The pick-up was pretty painless as well, but only because we were first. I'm not sure what the average wait time is otherwise. You are given the option at that time to purchase a pain pill for your pet and I STRONGLY suggest you do so. I can't stress this enough, not only for the comfort of your pet, but for peace of mind. Dogs are not generally given pain medication upon pick up unless you used your benefit award letter for surgery, and if so, they are only given one pill which says not to use until the next day, but that is WRONG. As soon as I got my pet home (he was one of the first to be operated on that day) we could tell he was in distress and pain. BUY a pain pill!!! (Cats are given a pain injection after surgery, but I'd still suggest a pain pill because, better safe than sorry). NEVER USE ASPIRIN OR TYLENOL or any other OTC pain medication for your pet as it could prove fatal. Recovery time I guess depends on the pet, but two days later our dog was up and about and "normal", although we are still trying to keep him from running or jumping. All that to say, that this place is great. Once we were actually able to FIND it :), it was a pretty painless process (for us, the pet owners) and that I would definitely recommend it.

The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. It is a place of warmth and love for animals. They pay attention to details about the animals health. The vets are very knowledgeable. I like that everyone who works there takes all the time that you need to address one's concerns.

Everything was great in here.. My coworker recommended me about this place and I am glad she did it. I had been to couple other ones before coming here and they all looked as if the person behind the desk was doing us a favor for being there.(bad customer service...). the customer service in here is great. At least they greet you with a smile and lets you know what you need to know. but I felt like Gracie went above and beyond helping us with our visit. I would like to thank her and the team for making our visit a stress less one.

Although the SNAP location is an hour drive for me, it was worth the effort to have both my new kitten spayed and older dog neutered. I know the importance and responsibility of this for the betterment of our neighborhood and health of my animals. I do wish there was a much needed SNAP location in North Houston or the Humble area. There are low income needs there too. The office was very accommodating. They let us know it would take an hour or so to register so we were prepared for the wait. We did not have an appointment for my 7 yr old dog but we brought him just in case and they did take him last minute in place of a no-show. The Vet techs were very understanding and gentle with both my animals. I was impressed. We would highly recommend this office.

Great customer service everyone here is easy to work with and will answer any questions you have. They all seemed like compassionate people that love animals. Wait times are not that bad either. Great value ($45.00) compared to my regular vet that wanted over $200 for my cat to get spayed. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family.
