  I'm a building inspector and have first-hand knowledge of their work. It's top-notch. I've met several of their techs and know some of the owners. They care about their work and their customers...despite what one 'reviewer' wrote below. Too bad he didn't give the full 'story' in his review because he conveniently left out a few facts. SMS Mechanical is the only shop I 'refer' people to...and without reservation. Heck...when my mother-in-law's A/C goes down (she just won't buy new units) they're the only shop I'll send over to take care of her. My 36 year marriage depends on it! ;)

  My AC stopped working on Saturday and SMS had my unit running again the same day. They were quick to respond to my call and were on time for the appointment. The tech was knowledgeable and saved me a lot of money by checking over the unit before starting any repairs. The tech had the part on the truck and was able to install it quickly. I would use SMS Mechanical again for my AC or heating problems. Thanks guys!

  Absolutely no follow through. The tech that came out to work on our A/C unit, Joe, was OK; he couldn't do the entire job because he didn't have the right size ladder (unprepared); He advised us we'd need a new drip pan for our A/C and his boss Dave would call to give us a quote and let us know when the part was in and the work could get done. I never heard from Dave so I called 3 times over the course of a week and Dave said each time he would get back with me - I finally got tired of chasing after this guy and his excuses. SMS Mechanical is a joke. They can't even pick up the phone to tell you when they can do the job. I wouldn't use them again unless they were the last A/C repair service in Vegas and my unit was out when it was 120 degrees and I couldn't do the job myself. Then I would consider dehydration and heat stroke before I would go through the aggravation of dealing with this flaky vegas outfit again.
