  My office had ordered Smokehouse BBQ yesterday and had a delivery services delivered our food. For $18.50 I expected a more than I received. The fries was cold and stale. They were out of potatoes salad and the beans were out of a can. Corn bread was dry as hell. I asked for the bbq sauce to be on the side instead they poured it on the meat. Whole meal was terrible... I wont go back !!! However I would like my money back...

  Favorite bbq place hands down here in anchorage. They know how to cook there. 😀

  I ordered brisket and ribs and they were great. It is honestly the best barbecue in anchorage. It’s a little pricey but it’s well worth it because you get good portions and the food tastes great. This will be my go to bbq place from now on.

  Honestly, the price for this place heavily depends on who is working the shack at the time. If it's a woman, you will probably get half/quarter portions that are subpar, while if it's the guy who works the grill you get solid and fresher portions. (This has been observed over half a dozen visits over the past couple of years)

  Save your money, ordered the 8 oz pulled pork combo plate which was priced at 13.00 and was charged 15.50 so they should really explain their prices. Also with my combo plate I asked for both my sides to be potato salad. Now all my life I thought potato salad was cut into chunks not a whole damn potato because that's what I got with huge chunks of celery and I couldn't even eat it. The pulled pork was fatty and did not taste right. Never again. and I took pictures of my plate.
