  Hidden gem in South Park Slope! I have been going to SmartHair for several years now. I typically see Tanya (she's the best!), but have seen most of the other stylists there when Tanya is booked (Angela, Ashley, Mariana), and they all do an amazing job as well. They give honest opinions and don't try to push products or services on you. I've recommended several friends to SmartHair, and many of them trek in from Manhattan -- it's worth it! Reasonably priced and top-notch styling, conveniently located in my neighborhood :)

  I live in the area and decided to try out the salon for a simple blow out a couple years ago- Angela did an amazing job, so I went back several times for what they call the "Las Vegas Blowout." The salon itself is small and quaint and has a really cozy vibe. I get my hair highlighted (blonde) every couple of months and trek out to another borough to do so, so I decided to make an appointment with Angela to do my highlights and I'm so glad I did. She did an absolutely amazing job! The color is stunning and didn't take long either. I will definitely be back and the beauty is they are right around the corner from where I live. So glad that I have such a gem in my neighborhood!

  This place is amazing. Super friendly peoole who give awesome cuts, color, and styling at reasonable prices!
