::I am a family nurse practitioner. I received a call out of the blue regarding one of my patients. They were requesting authorization for two topical agents for my patient. About one, I thought, "Not a bad idea." The other was entirely inappropriate for the stated indication, which was a high-highest potency steroid for dry skin! I then called my patient, who vaguely recalled a solicitation phone call from "some pharmacy" promoting topical agents, which she was told would be covered by Medicaid and was under the impression had been initiated by me. In my view (and perhaps the law's) this is UNAUTHORIZED AND PERSONAL SOLICITATION AND PROMOTION OF A PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT TO AN INDIVIDUAL PATIENT WITHOUT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRESCRIBER AND WITH POORLY INFORMED CONSENT OF THE PATIENT. Are there not safeguards in place to harness these types of inappropriate solicitations? I appreciate the suggestion that was appropriate; I fear harm to patients for whom their recommendations are inappropriate and cross a busy provider's desk. I also gather that they are creating false hopes and giving assurances to patients regarding the potential helpfulness of a product, and then are not able to follow through. There has to be a better way.

::I'm very disappointed with this pharmacy. They always seemed to be kind and courteous. All "I asked is that they call my doctor to ask exactly what they needed to fill my prescription that they said they needed. It turned out that after my aching throat couldn't wait any longer, I asked for the prescription back and took it to a local chain pharmacy where it was filled instantly. I was told while making a complaint to the dept of health that Skyline was not very courteous and need to update their pharmacy law reviews. What really bothered me was how they showed no sympathy while following these nonexistent rules. It was almost as if they enjoyed exercising their authority. And finally , the owner comes out telling me that they have other things to do than help someone yelling!

::So far I've had good experience with this Pharmacy. I do the online ordering and they have always been on time and their customer service is great. They have always went above and beyond to fix any issue, including calling my Dr themselves. Prices are the same as my local pharmacy so far.

::I never had a bad experience in a pharmacy. And after reading the positive reviews for this one, I realized that I could've written exactly the same positve way given a normal everyday routine scenario. I felt the exact same positivity upon seeing the foreground. I know that making judgment calls is a very important role for any pharmacist. I' m sure this pharmacist realized what a poor one was made after verifying my prescription was real and not fake. Not to mention speaking to me with such a condescending attitude. It's so important that most pharmacists, at least from all my years interacting with, realize how to make good judgment calls.

::Great pharmacist, very caring and will explain all your medicine to you upon pick up. Has a very personable feeling to it. Makes you feel comfortable because your known on a personal level and not just a number in a big store chain pharmacy . Always very friendly . From cashier/ clerk to the pharmacist. Always Clean inside. Skyline also delivers your medicine if there's a need for that service . Always a pleasure.
