  Love bars that encourage sobriety, went to meet friends, bartender happily served us seltzer. I really dug the vibe here. Lots of comfy looking folks enjoying each other's company.

  This is my go-to bar in the neighborhood. Never too crowded and very chill.

  I usually don't give a place two stars, and it really should be one...but I'll tell you why I gave Skylark two stars. Neighborhood Irish pub...Should be a good thing, right? No. Why? Because they don't like lesbians, and make their preference known. The bar tender was kind to all of the straight patrons but when we had asked for chips, the bartender threw the bag at us...not to mention the music ...which so loud, we couldn't hear one another, so we had to keep talking into each other's ear....which seemed to make the bartender more uncomfortable. Ok, so the tab was $40... is that a bad thing? It's Park Slope (the lesbian Mecca), 2018, not somewhere along the Bible belt, or Rust belt! Won't be going back, first and last was an experience enough.

  Mike the owner is a good guy to have a conversation with while he makes the best cocktail shots very good hospitality

  Really chill bar in the area that doesn't charge you an arm and a leg for drinks. Place is relatively clean and has a nice staff. Not much else to say about a bar.
